...without ever leaving home.

I want to thank everyone for their recent support on
Basement Stock - Crouch being chosen for a
Daily Deviation, an unexpected honor.
Welcome to all the new watchers!

I'd enjoy hearing more about you, what kind of art you like to create and how you came to be here on
Deviant Art.

SPECIAL GRATITUDE:
*
BreedStock - for suggesting that I upload my personal images for the purpose of stock, creating art with it,
and suggesting it to other artists. Those are wonderful gestures of one creative person reaching out to another.

~
BloodyVivian - for featuring myself and
many artists in
Hidden Treasures I - Stock Photos
*
sammykaye1 for also featuring a stock image along with a wealth of talent for the
Urban Legends Contest
=
rml-stock - for nominating the image with a DD in the first place and for their sincere, poetic encouragement.
The "Stock Gods" as I call them, those more advanced and responsible for overseeing such concepts, have been nothing but polite, welcoming and kind.
I also thank my older friends who have continued to support me since a few years ago when I landed on the Internet. For newer observers, do realize that my tastes are very broad; I dont tend to stay in one genre of anything when it comes to realms of the imagination.

It was a pleasure to personally offer my gratitude and examine so many different galleries. At the risk of sounding corny, Ill repeat words that Ive stated to others about this platform because they have always been my true feelings.
The thing I like the most about creating is the way it enables us to find new ways, beyond the usual boundaries of life, to express ourselves. I'd be hard pressed to fully explain why I get possessed to do the things I do. But what I like the most about
Deviant Art and the
Internet is the way in which it enables us to potentially connect. Once upon a time, I was the weird kid with a lot of weird ideas and few if anyone to share those thoughts with. I grew up barely ever knowing another artist or creative person, was actually very much led to believe that such abilities were useless or at the very least unneeded. Only recently has that view been changing for me and only recently have I been able to offer or receive so much encouragement.
I credit
Deviant Art for a chunk of that positive energy, for being deviant by defying the typical way that art is displayed and created. For a long time, much of my work simply resided unviewed in dust because no, not a professional artist of any kind am I, though deeply passionate about my subject matters. Ive had the privilege of being acknowledged here or there in the realms of anime, but nothing grand scale; I cant claim to have managed to live up to my potential. I did my best, but its so easy to forget, to loose faith, among the struggles of life and in isolation.
Part of my philosophy is living in gratitude, difficulties are handled easier that way. We improve and are inspired by others in an endless cycle. I hope to continue to find work that intrigues and challenges.

POLICY:I'm very open to people using my stock or drawn art in "unrestricted" ways (as described by ^
LawrenceDeDark).
My images are meant to be ambiguous and do not have to follow tone, gender, race or creed. Feel free to play or manipulate, use where you like. You may also color any line-art if you like. And if you let me know, Id be glad to display the work here at Deviant or over at
LiveJournal.

Oh, I remembered something. I have no idea if you recall, once I coloured your lineart of "celestial zodiac sailor moon". But recently someone has obviously been storming through my gallery and reporting the fan stamps and banners I made, making it being removed due to violating some terms of ownership >.> And sadly that lineart of yours was as well removed, though I said clearly I received your permission and your comment was placed under it. Duh, as we say, " over-zealousness worse than the fascism"

[...by the way...I'm coloring one of your lineart pictures...I hope you don't mind.]
Not at all, as stated in the journal entry under POLICY, that's fine with me. I find it flattering as opposed to someone tracing or passing other people's artwork off as their own.

I had to, thanking people was more important than apprehension.
