Artist's Comments
These are cherry blossom branches, the flowers are called "sakura" [sah-koo-rah] in Japanese. They begin to bloom shortly after the new year, in February and March, they thrive while others shiver. I often feel a romantic simpatico with them. These branches come from the very street that I live on.
I was a silk-painter for years, harder work than it sounds, so the scarf was actually done by my hands. For a scarf-free image see: Stock - Sakura Branches. I think they'd make nice Photoshop or art brushes, textures too, if anyone would like to do that. _______________________  If you choose to use something, give me credit & a note is nice. And just think you haven't heard ALL of what I've done in life! Although, I haven't done much "normal" it would seem in life; the more gentile things that kids take for granted, including health and ability to easily fit into society. But on the weirder side, I'll never stop being ticked off that I didn't get to 1. join the military and therefore 2. become an astronaut.
Maybe I'll just crawl inside your luggage on the way to art school -- I've certainly never studied animation! That sounds like an interesting adventure indeed. Would that I could've been like you at your age rather than working to support my family and pay exorbitant medical bills, though I feel only happiness for your success.
