Artist's Comments

A vintage Colt .45 complete with vintage holster and bullets. Its significance is sentimental, practical, and aesthetic all rolled into one. A person whom I could not refuse requested images of it just recently, which prompted me to share it now. I'd never thought to take pictures of my weapons.

The symbol of American's constitutional right to bear arms - the one that often seems frightening when paired with a human proclivity for violence . Still, I find that I can not resist admiring the craftsmenship of the object even if it means contributing to our "cowboy" image as a nation.

Yeah, much like cars, it's from an era when weapons had class.

wow. that's so cool. I love old stuff. I am probably the only teenager I know that wants to collect fur coats and pocketwatches... guns would be an interesting addition....

is that sonic screwdriver in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

*whistles*

I think that's the sexiest gun I've ever seen. Very nice!

Hmm . . . for some reason, I really like the idea of you owning weapons. It just seems right somehow.

I blame furs on my crazy grandmother. she has two squirrel capelets, and a white minx shaw that belonged to my great aunt(?) and I used to play with them as a child. I hope I get them when she dies.

and once I found this amazing white fox shaw with six tails on the ends that was so big and luxurious but it was $1000 and mom said I was too young to have such an "old lady" piece of fur :(.

I also found a pocketwatch with colored images of arc-angels and flowers inlaided in the cover and another beautifully carved gold watch with delicate, ornate hands on the inside, but both were $750 each and I didn't feel like I should ask my parents for such a gift at my age. but it's okay, I have years worth of time to make my collection.

It is smexy for a gun. :flirty: Lol! I thought that too after it got scanned. Maybe it's just photogenic. Or maybe it's the glow of time.

I'm not ready to show off my others stuff. Gotta have some 'sur-prizes' up my sleeves. ;)
